Our founder, Thomas Ly, began in this field as a fisherman himself more than 20 years ago. Every day before the break of dawn, he would bring his boat onto the gulf waters and release his traps, one by one. Enduring strong waves and exhausting work days alike, he made sure he would deliver the greatest quality crabs to his customers. For this mission, he often didn't make it home until after sundown. But he knew that the quality of his products were most important.

Mr. Ly found himself wanting to help his fellow fishermen. He sought to establish a just and opportune working environment for his peers. Thus, he established T&Y Seafood, a place where he pledged to bring fairness and quality for both his fishermen and his customers. Upon founding the company, he mentored many more people for the industry, employing even more individuals in the rural area. 

With only one vehicle, Mr. Ly started out delivering every crab himself. He ensured that his products would be the best of the best. He had a vision in which he would always oversee every product-and that they would never settle for less than the best. 

More than 20 years later, the quality of his products have impressed again and again, making his dedication evident. Mr. Ly's mission remains the same: fairness for his hard-working fishermen and excellence for his customers.
